Editing Blog for The Music Video
Hello again, this is Jeremiah. For the past few days I have been working on my music video. At the moment, I am working on my editing for the video. Similar to the filming, there are some problems that I have been coming across. Since it takes place at night, trying to make it watchable without overdoing the exposure is troubling. I am thinking about just using a flashlight in the night scenes but it might ruin the look of the video. I am worried about having to leave it in because I won't have time to do it over. There is also the issue of pacing. I want the content in the music video to mirror what is happening in the song when it happens. Since the music video is kind of quick, the music video will be quick as well. It worries me that the music video will be too fast and hard to watch. My final and greatest concern is the content of the song itself. I am making a music video for "Trapped in the Drive Thru", but I can't drive. That leaves me with two options. Record someone else actually taking me to a a drive thru or pretend I'm driving when I am actually going nowhere. I think I will do the latter since I have no partners and asking family to go out of their way to do it for me feels inconsiderate. I still have many issues to iron out, but I am confident it can be done. What I do know is where there is a will, there is a way. I will return with another update for the project. Until next time, see you later.
