Planning for my Music Video
Planning
The song will be on Weird Al Yankovic's "Trapped in the Drivethru."
Props
The props I will be using for this commercial are as follows: a hamburger, a car, and keys. Since the song is about going to a drivethru, having a burger will only be natural. By that same logic, you can't have a drivethru without driving. The keys may seem unnecessary at first but there is a specific line that refers to them, so they are needed. The video needs to align with an already existing song, so the room for creative freedom is very small. Only what is needed will be used.
Costumes
The costumes for this video will be very casual. Almost makes me wonder if I should even call them costumes. The song takes place at night and is supposed to have a "just got out of bed but I'm hungry so I guess I'll do this" vibe. You will likely see me just wearing pajamas.
Location
There will only be 2-3 locations: the inside of my house, my driveway and possibly a drivethru. I will be transitioning from going from the house to the car to the drivethru. The reason I put 2-3 is in case the actual drivethru isn't available, but that will be covered in backup plans.
Schedule
The schedule is really just a lose idea of when I am going to be recording. The scene takes place at night, but for my purposes I can ignore that entirely. All I know is that I will be wearing pajamas, so it will likely be at nighttime.
Backup Plan
As I stated earlier, I might not be able to record the drivethru. I want use a scenic shot so I will likely not record form the inside of the car. If I try to do so from across the street, cars my block the way. If I can't record it then I will just use a picture off the internet and edit it seemlessly.
