Intro to the Music Video Project

Hello, this is Jeremiah and I'm back with another project. This time, I am going to make a music video for a song of my choice. Despite lacking as much creative freedom as the last project (since your video needs to be in line with an already existing song), I am looking forward to this project. The project this time around will be one minute at most. I will likely just use an excerpt from a song instead of a full length video. As for what song to choose, I am thinking of something fun and lighthearted. A parody tend to be those things so I am thinking of making music video for a parody. Then I thought who better to choose a parody from then the king of parodies, Al "Weird Al" Yankovic. Of all his parodies, my favorite is "Trapped in the Drivethru", a parody on R.Kelly's "Trapped in the Closet". I can already form a mental image of what it is going to look like too. I wonder if this is how people who make actual songs and videos feel. I plan on doing this project alone like my last one. It isn't that I chose to be by myself but that there are no people that I can think of to do it with me. I'm not upset about it since there are benefits that working alone affords me. I have full creative authority over the video. I am not hindered by having to work within other people's schedules. Also,  the final product will be a pure reflection of my skill and creativity, so figuring out which areas I can improve in is more clear and concise. I want to consider this a learning experience. Most of all, I hope I will have as much fun making it as I did the last project. Until next time, bye.
