Music Video

Hello, Jeremiah here. Rough times all around on my end. I had refrained from uploading my video until the last second so I can make last-minute edits if need be. That ended up backfiring spectacularly as now my video is slightly behind and has dropped in quality. The editing software I used decided that it wanted to be my enemy today so it was almost functionally impossible to use it. It was slow and buggy so I didn't find otherwise obvious flaws in my video. The worst part about it is that this service is otherwise pretty reliable so I didn't think to plan for something like this to happen. More important are my own missteps. Instead of trying to submit a decent project, I panicked and rushed to reshoot scenes because of a nagging feeling that it wasn't good enough. In hindsight it is obvious that rushing it will result in an inferior product but you can't change the past. From the very beginning I tried to take on a two man job alone, unnecessarily handicapping myself. I shouldn't have put all my eggs in one basket, I should have known better than to risk the final outcome of my project on the chance of a software working successfully, no matter how reliable it is. In the end, I recognize that the quality of this project is entirely my fault. Put bluntly, I am not proud of the final product. The best thing I can do is take the lessons I learned and use it to better myself next time. There will be more on that in my reflection. I am told that you learn more from your failures than your successes, so even though this won't be too good for my grade, it should help with my growth in film making and maybe as a person (I can only hope, right). You might enjoy watching this, not for reasons I would like, but if you enjoyed yourself then it made someone happy. As for the video, well, here it is. Have fun because God knows I'm not. See you tomorrow, but until then, bye.
